Health & Social Care FAQs

Jess Health Social Care

Health & Social Care Student: Jess

'Health & Social Care has always been enjoyable for me and it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made, to take it as one of my courses, here at St Brendan's.

All of the modules that are covered in this subject are so interesting to learn and boost your knowledge incredibly around these areas. I particularly loved the Anatomy & Physiology unit, as it was taught through practical and theory-based learning.

This subject does require a lot of work outside of college, but the resources that are given online and support given by the teachers makes it a lot easier to manage. After this course, I am going to study Adult's Nursing at University, which this course helps significantly with.'

Jess Studied: Health & Social Care, Applied Human Biology, Sport

Case Study Weni

Health & Social Care Student: Weni

'I studied Level 3 Health and Social Care and I really enjoyed it. I particularly loved the one-week work experience.

From this, I was completely inspired and I was able to decide on what I wanted to do after college with confidence. Teachers are extremely supportive and so passionate. I'm now going on to Staffordshire University to study Counselling Psychology.'

Weni Studied: Health & Social Care, Psychology, Sociology
